Makes 3 small loaves. (Can be used for any sweet dough recipe). Combine:
1/2 c. warm water (115 to 120 degrees)
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. ginger
2 pkgs. yeast
1 tsp. sugar

Let stand in warm place until bubbling nicely.
Combine in large bowl:
1/2 c. dried skim milk
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. warm water
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. warm water
Add yeast mixture and beat well.
Add:
1/4 c. soft butter
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
2 c. flour
